Sheldon welcomes Missy to the world of atheism by encouraging her to question the Bible. Also, Meemaw is determined to catch George, Sr. in a lie; and Mary helps Pastor Jeff (series regular MATT HOBBY) search for a youth pastor.

Dale and Meemaw work out relationship issues while playing Dungeons and Dragons with Sheldon and Missy. Meanwhile, Mary and George take a trip with Coach Wilkins (recurring guest star DOC FARROW) and his wife; and Georgie freaks out when his girlfriend thinks she’s pregnant.

While Sheldon tries to convince Dr. Sturgis (recurring guest star WALLACE SHAWN) to return to the university, Georgie upsets the family when he makes a life-changing decision.

Meemaw takes matters into her own hands when Sheldon’s philosophy teacher, Professor Ericson, sends him into a tailspin. Also, George learns that Georgie has been cutting class.

When Meemaw’s gambling room is a success, she finds herself with a suitcase of illegal cash. Meanwhile, Missy starts a business and Sheldon dips his toe in the stock market.
