Jackson Bond

In 2006, Jackson Bond left a strong impression in his first television role, guest-starring as a character named Danny Sommers in "CSI: Miami." In the episode entitled "Collision," his mother is killed in a car crash, an event that leaves him traumatized. The next year, Bond made his big screen acting debut and co-starred in his first television series. He appeared alongside Hollywood heavyweights Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig in the '07 thriller "The Invasion," a remake of the classic "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," about alien creatures that infect human hosts, entering their minds and controlling them when they go to sleep. Bond played Oliver, the son of Kidman's character who has an unexpected immunity to the aliens. Unfortunately, behind-the-scenes disagreements between the director and studio contributed to "The Invasion" underperforming at the box office. Meanwhile, Bond played Dylan Kennison in the television comedy "In Case of Emergency," about high school chums dealing with disillusionment. He closed out the decade and started up the next with small parts in films, all shot in his native Minnesota: the horror flick "Killer Movie," the drama "Into Temptation," and the family film "Memorial Day." In the latter, he played a 13-year-old who bonds with his grandfather over his wartime souvenirs.
