Joe Estevez

Though Joe Estevez is not as famous as his brother, acclaimed actor Martin Sheen, he has proven himself a prolific performer, having appeared in more than 160 films. Estevez first pursued his acting ambitions after a stint in the United States Navy. He started out in theater but made his television debut in 1974 with a small role in the TV movie crime drama "The Story of Pretty Boy Floyd," which starred his older brother. The siblings went on to work together in a number of films, including Sheen's most memorable work, the iconic Vietnam War drama "Apocalypse Now." While Sheen played the traumatized protagonist, Estevez lent his voice to the soundscape. He has since become a noted voice artist, who can often be heard as a narrator in commercials and documentaries. Though he never achieved the star status of his brother, Estevez has earned a cult following from his long list of indie and B-movie appearances, like the slasher horror "Flesh, TX," the alligator-breeding adventure "Gator King," and the End of Days horror romp "Zombiegeddon."
