Saki

Saki doesn't understand why she was taken to play mahjong but that's where Saki and Nodoka met. Nodoka wins but questions Saki's playing style so she asks for another game.

Even though winning has been a difficult feat for Saki, Hisa proposes a mini-match to test Saki's true potential and reveal her hidden ability. In a powerful performance, Saki blows away Hisa's expectations, but was it too much for Nodoka?"

Everyone senses that Nodoka feels uneasy when Saki plays. When it’s certain that the problem takes a turn, Nodoka explodes! Meanwhile, Hisa and Mako are nominated by their prefecture to participate in a high school’s mahjong tournament.

The day is drawing near for the National Mahjong Tournament for the prefectural nominations. Saki and Nodoka are at Mako’s house helping with the family’s store. Hisa begins to talk about the training when she really has something up her sleeve.

In order to blow out the other teams at the prefectural qualifiers, training camp has started. Saki and Yuki are on their journey for their special training but in the meantime are enjoying themselves in an open air bath and dining on a delicious meal. Nodoka who is also part of the special training begins to think like Hisa which has caused her to become timid in her play.

The prefectural nominations have finally begun! The girls from the favorites such as Kazekoshi slowly began to fill up the meeting area. That's when Saki strayed away from the group. During her solitude, she saw a member from last year's team championship from Ryuumonbuchi High School.
