Daisy Head

Despite being the daughter of a prominent actor, Daisy Head was determined to make it as a performer based on her own talent. Born in Fulham, England, Head became interested in acting at a young age. She took classes at the Dorothy Colbourne School of Dance during her youth, and even secured an agent by the time she was 13. Though her father, actor Anthony Head, expressed concerns about the constant rejection faced by actors, he never discouraged his daughter's pursuits. She secured her first on-screen role at age 14 in the mini-series "Feather Boy" (BBC, 2004), and enrolled at the Brit School of the Performing Arts alongside schoolmates like singers Kay B and Adele. She would go on to co-star on shows like "Patrick's Planet" (BBC, 2005) and later in the post-apocalyptic thriller "The Last Seven" (2010). More steady work followed, including a co-starring role on the web series "The Proxy" (2012) and in the comedy-drama "Heart of Lightness" (2014). Head's profile raised significantly when she was cast in the series "The Syndicate" (BBC, 2012-) about a group of low-income co-workers whose lives are changed when they jointly win the lottery. Her success on that series led to a still more prominent and challenging role as a prime murder suspect on the American legal drama "Guilt" (FreeForm, 2016). While that role opened Head up to a whole new overseas audience, she got to work on the fantasy adventure "Fallen" (2016).
