Megan Stevenson

Born in San Diego, California, Megan Stevenson's first love as a performer was ballet. She danced throughout her childhood and teens, even performing with the California Ballet Company. She would only take a step back from dance when she relocated to New York to attend Fordham University. Though her major was communications, Stevenson spent her off-hours exploring the New York theater scene and studying sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater. It was seven years into her life as a New Yorker that Stevenson booked a starring role in a pilot that would be shooting in L.A. On the spot, she decided to relocate. Though the pilot ultimately was not picked up, Stevenson continued to find work, playing a small role on an episode of "Californication" (Showtime, 2007-2014) in 2011, and appearing on an episode of "Franklin & Bash" (TNT, 2011-2014) the following year. In 2014, Stevenson was cast as A.J. on the Comedy Central series "Review" (Comedy Central, 2014-17), opening her up to a wider audience, and putting her in touch with the casting director who she would work with again when she won the role of April on the series "Get Shorty" (Epix, 2017-) in 2017.
