Journalist Verónica Rosenthal starts investigating an engine driver's suicide, but is confronted with the secrecy of the railroad world. The clues lead her to another machinist that could be key in the investigation: Lucio Valrossa.

Veronica wants to know more about the guys who compete in the tracks and meets Lucio again. While she advances in research with isolated tracks, Rivero takes to Peque to its first competition in the tracks.

Verónica follows the clue of a crossing keeper who suffered an accident and ended up in a coma. The attraction between her and Lucio grows. Meanwhile, Peque mellowed out with the money won and wants to compete again.

Peque is in shock following the traumatic experience in the tracks. Meanwhile, Verónica and Lucio walk the poor neighborhoods looking for the relatives of the kids who were ran over by the train.

Verónica's investigation leads her to Roca Juniors. When interviewing Rivero she feels he's hiding something. Federico says she's putting too much at stake, and suggests she leaves it to justice. Rafa wants to know what happened to Peque.

Verónica makes a risky decision while Juan García's men seek to get rid of loose ends. Lucio is aware of the danger and keeps his family away from the city. Meanwhile, Dientes has an idea that could end the competitions.
