Lorenzo Pisoni

Lorenzo Pisoni

Actor Lorenzo Pisoni had a rather unique start to his performing career: in 1978, his parents made him a member of their circus troupe, The Pickle Family Circus. He took the skills he honed there to several other circuses, touring the world as an acrobat, aerialist, ringmaster, clown, and juggler. Finally in 1999, he decided to give up the circus and relocate to New York City to embark on an acting career. He has since gone on to enjoy success on Broadway, as well as using his clown skills to choreograph physical comedy for actors like Matthew Broderick, David Arquette, and Alan Arkin. He first appeared on screen in 2000 with Cirque du Soleil, who he had worked with before in their short film, "Journey of Man," in a bungee cord performance. Three years later, he had his first on-screen acting role in another short: the psychological thriller "Duckhorn." His first feature-length film was the independent drama "Read You Like a Book," in 2006. The next year, he could be seen in another drama, "South of Pico." In 2009, he appeared in the game-show mockumentary "Company Retreat," as well as in his television debut with a recurring role as District Attorney Andrew Willis in the long-running daytime soap-opera "All My Children." 2011 saw him performing in two films: the comedy sequel "Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son," and the well-received sci-fi thriller "The Adjustment Bureau."
