Jillian Murray

A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Jillian Murray grew up with dreams of becoming a professional actor. Eventually, Murray left the coziness of Reading behind to pursue acting more seriously. She moved to Los Angeles after high school, and within months began landing roles in independent films like the 2003 comedy, "Deep Toad." By 2006 Murray began appearing in more notable films and television programs, including a guest spot on the Nickelodeon comedy, "Drake & Josh," as well as small roles in 2008's fantasy comedy, "An American Carol," and the 2009 romantic comedy, "Knuckle Draggers." In 2009 Murray landed a recurring role as Portlyn on the Disney Channel's teen sitcom, "Sonny with a Chance," and followed that up by appearing in the horror film, "Forget Me Not." For the next few years, Murray continued acting in both horror movies, like 2009's "The Graves," in which she co-starred, as well action films like 2011's "Bad Ass "and the MMA-themed "Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown." When she's not acting, Murray is an avid auto enthusiast. She used to spend a lot of time racing cars and other sports vehicles at a racetrack, and also cites motorcycle riding as one of her favorite activities.
