In 1998, economics professor Yip and his pupil Hong formed "CASH" to fight against financial superpowers. They were wiped out, Hong fled. Now Yip is a prominent government official colluding with business moguls. Hong returns for revenge. A battle rocking the whole finance world ensues.

As Hong decimates financial conglomerates, "CASH" catches the attention of Fang in the Securities and Futures Commission. Hong asks her to investigate certain illegal dealings, during which she reveals a secret from Yip’s past. Hong discovers he is walking into Yip’s trap.
