Jazmín, in danger of being discovered, throws the gun into the garden before the ranch security finds it. She claims to have seen someone running away. At the house, Fernando discovers that the wounded man is his father, Remigio, with a graze on his arm. The shell casing is found and they are all interrogated. Jazmín, with a wound on her forehead, says she was attacked. They suspect Octavio Barraza. The next day, Javier kills Aurelia for being an informant. At night, Jazmín tries to hide the gun, but Santiago confronts her with a gun, demanding to know her true identity.
