Charlie Saxton

Born in Philadelphia, PA, actor Charlie Saxton made his film debut when he was only 8 years old as the character Stephen in the movie "Pants on Fire" (1998). It was five years before young Saxton worked again, taking the role of Young Tommy in the movie "Mail Order Bride" (2003). The very next year he played a small role in the short film "Billy the Kid" (2004). In this film, and in 2005's "Rounding First," Saxton acted alongside his mother, actress Drucie McDaniel. Saxton continued to act regularly in the 2000s and into the 2010s in movies like "The Happening" (2008), "Bandslam" (2009), "The Lovely Bones" (2009) and "Twelve" (2010). In 2009 Saxton was cast in the critically acclaimed HBO drama "Hung" (HBO, 2009-2011), starring Thomas Jane. He portrayed Damon Drecker, the son of the lead character. Saxton appeared in 30 episodes of the series. Following the series' cancellation, Saxton appeared in a number of other television projects including "Workaholics" (Comedy Central, 2011-17), "Betas" (Amazon, 2013-14), and "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life" (Amazon, 2016). In 2016 it was announced that Saxton would voice one of the characters in the animated series "Trollhunters" (Netflix 2016-), helmed by director Guillermo del Toro.
