After trying to come clean on what drove him back to Neptune Wallace is forced to turn to Veronica for help when a former basketball teammate from Chicago frames him for a tragic accident. Meanwhile while wrapping up another case Veronica and Keith stumble on evidence that links a bus crash victim and their new client Jackie's father. Later armed with proof tying his gang to the Fighting Fitzpatricks mob Weevil confronts a classmate who is involved and makes a disturbing discovery.
