Called to jury duty over Christmas break Veronica must sit on a difficult polarizing case against a pair of affluent defendants accused of assaulting a young Hispanic woman. Meanwhile Keith helps Mayor Woody Goodman (recurring guest star STEVE GUTTENBERG) determine who stole the Aaron Echolls/Lilly Kane sex tapes from the police station. Later a familiar face makes a surprise return to Neptune while another one of Veronica's friends meets a tragic end.
