Upon discovering the aerial sport Flying Circus, an absent-minded but determined transfer student named Asuka Kurashina signs up for the school team and gains a coach in Masaya Hinata, a once-promising young player who retired after a harsh defeat.

Asuka moves to Kuna Island and meets Masaya and Misaki, fellow students at Kunahama High. She also finds out about the Grav-Shoes that help people fly, and Flying Circus, the sport played using them.

Mashiro ends up having to take supplementary exams, and realizes that Asuka and Misaki are quickly getting better at FC. She doesn't want to be left behind.

The West Kyushu qualifiers for the National Flying Circus Championships have begun. Asuka's excited for her first-ever competitive match.

Asuka and Misaki have made it to the second day of the qualifiers, where they will take part in the second round of matches.
