After the school trip is canceled, Alba discovers that some of her classmates are planning a road trip behind their parents' backs and sets out to get a spot in their van.

After barely making it out of their problematic rental home, the group is forced to return when they realize one of their own is missing; then, as the friends consider calling off the trip, Alba attempts to change their minds.

The friends' plan to increase their trip funds bides them more time and reveals a surprising connection for Alba, but as they ride the resulting high, a phone call causes reality to come crashing back.

Fresh out of options and with nowhere left to turn, Alba finally faces her friends with the truth.
