Olimpia’s life is turned upside down when her husband gets cancer. To provide for her family, she starts dealing hashish in the square, but since her goal is to take her husband to a clinic in the United States, she begins dealing cocaine. Alongside her Colombian partner “Moreno,” quickly climbs the ranks and starts working with Colombian cartels and the Neapolitan mafia. But her conservative, working-class family does not take kindly to a woman being in the drug business, so she has no choice but to hide it. Then, the real problems begin for her: What to do? Stay in the drug world, but banished and targeted by her family, or go back to being a housewife, surrounded by her family? Will she be able to do it? One thing she knows is that she’s not about to take a single step back. This fictional story is inspired by actual events. Many incidents, locations, and characters have been created or altered for dramatic purposes or to protect the anonymity of the real people involved.
