A modern fairy tale based on a true story about Zeynep, a young woman whose life takes a turn when she is torn between the family she was born into and the one destiny chose for her.

Episode 1
Zeynep was born into a poor family and adopted by her mother's boss. One day, while accidentally passing her old family's neighborhood, chance brings her to meet the attractive Mehdi and sets her on a search for her origins.

Zeynep feels guily about her birth family's living conditions and about her disinterest in Faruk, the fiancé her wealthy adoptive family chose for her. Mehdi doesn't know that his date is with Zeynep, to whom he is attracted.

Nermin tells Zeynep and Sakine her plan to marry Zeynep. An enraged Sakine reveals Nermins's plans to Sultan, who suggests uniting Zeynep and Mehdi. Tension builds when Celal mentions Mehdi's father to him.

Zeynep and Mehdi go to the meeting arranged for them and talk about the marriage their mothers are planning. When Zeynep's fails to answer her phone, Mehdi gets apprehensive.

Mehdi talks frankly to Nuh about Zeynep and decides to propose to her. Zeynep remains entangled in the tribulations of her two families and decides to visit her brother's grave, where she runs into Mehdi by chance.

Zeynep accepts Mehdi's marriage proposal to please Sakine, but they both feel insecure about the situation, just like some of their families and acquaintances are not happy about it either.
