EPISODE 1
January: Don't Get Cocky
Yamatonokami Yasusada has manifested as the 17th member of the Sword Warriors in a "certain citadel." On his first morning he goes on a walk around the compound with Kashuu Kiyomitsu who shared the same former master, Okita Souji of the Shinsengumi.
EPISODE 2
February: There's Nothing I Want to Say
Doudanuki Masakuni and Tsurumaru Kuninaga have manifested. Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu show the two of them around the citadel.
EPISODE 3
March: It's One in Ten Thousand
Hirano Toushirou has found a four-leaf clover underneath the big tree. He intends to give it to Uguisumaru, who has just arrived at the citadel, but while he is on his way he encounters a number of obstacles making his task not so easy.
EPISODE 4
April: What Is Strength?
Izuminokami Kanesada has manifested. Meanwhile, the ten thousand leaf cherry tree is in full bloom. The sword warriors enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms underneath the tree but trouble brews when Jiroutachi ends up drunk.
EPISODE 5
May: Kindness Is Strength
While the Sword Warriors are wrapped up in the joy of one of the Five Great Swords of Japan appearing, dispatch orders come down from Master.
EPISODE 6
June: This Citadel Is Joyous, Isn't It?
Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu are preparing to go on an expedition in Edo. However, just before they leave their master falls ill. On their trip, the group heads into the mountains to collect medicinal herbs that can relieve a fever.
