I, Addict

Javier Giner decides to leave the rehabilitation center where he has been admitted as a patient for his alcohol and cocaine use; after meeting his treatment companions and seeing the center's dynamics, he decides it's not the place for him.

Javier checks himself in to the clinic again; he's terrified, willing to do whatever's required to free himself from what he now knows is an inescapable problem; he connects with a heroin addict, Rui, with whom he strikes up a special relationship.

After a month and a half in rehab, Javier is a part of life in the clinic; he participates in group activities and follows the guidelines set for him by Anais.

Javier is in charge of welcoming a new arrival at the clinic, Iker, a young gay actor who is addicted to chemsex; Iker has been forced to go to the clinic and arrives with zero awareness of his disease or willingness to give it up.

During his therapy session with Rafael, his psychologist, Javier details his second family visit during his stay at the clinic; what begins as an insignificant story slowly turns into something much more profound and painful.

After almost four months in rehab, Javier has been discharged from therapy and is ready to leave the clinic; it's time to say goodbye to the professionals who have helped him so much and his companions.
