Ian Nelson

Ian Nelson was an American film and TV actor who was best known for his roles in high-profile projects like "The Hunger Games" (2012), "Teen Wolf" (MTV, 2011-17) and "There's Johnny" (Seeso, 2017-), a retro series about the young staff of the Johnny Carson-helmed "The Tonight Show" (NBC, 1954-). Nelson was born in the mid-90s and began performing at a very young age. On his parents' encouragement, he took dance, singing and acting lessons when he was a young boy, which eventually led to him appearing as a performer in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. By his late teens, however, Nelson had set his sights on becoming a film and television actor, and began going on auditions. As luck would have it, he landed his very first on-screen role in the blockbuster sci-fi thriller "The Hunger Games." Although his role in the film was minor, it soon lead to additional work in films like "You're Not Alone" (2013) and "The Judge" (2014), as well as a recurring role on the supernatural MTV series "Teen Wolf." Nelson continued landing film and TV roles over the next several years, most notably in the film "The Boy Next Door" (2015) and the TV series "The Deleted" (Fullscreen, 2016-). Then in 2017 Nelson nabbed his biggest role to date when he started appearing on the 70s-inspired comedy series "There's Johnny" as the lead. The show, which follows the young staff working behind-the-scenes at "Tonight Show" in the early 1970s, premiered on the Seeso network in late 2017.
