Patrick Godfrey

Patrick Godfrey has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Godfrey began his acting career with roles in such films as the Julie Christie drama "Heat and Dust" (1983), "A Room With A View" (1986) and the Victor Banerjee comedy "Foreign Body" (1986). He also appeared in "Clockwise" (1986) with John Cleese and the drama "Maurice" (1987) with James Wilby. Godfrey also contributed music to "To Hurt and to Heal" (1987) with Laura Sky. In the nineties, Godfrey devoted his time to various credits, such as "Every Dog's Guide to the Playground" (1991), "On the Black Hill" (1991) and "The Apprentice" with Richard Condie (1991). He also worked on "Black and White" (1992). Recently, he tackled roles in "The Gambler" (1999) with Michael Gambon, the Jim Caviezel action movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" (2002) and the comedy adaptation "The Importance of Being Earnest" (2002) with Rupert Everett. He also appeared in the crime drama "Oliver Twist" (2005) with Ben Kingsley and the Richard Griffiths comedic adaptation "The History Boys" (2006). Most recently, Godfrey acted in "Mr. Turner" (2014) with Timothy Spall.
