Monica bumps into Richard in a video store, and they decide to work on their friendship, but the more time they spend together, the more sexual their relationship becomes. Meanwhile, Phoebe dates an athlete who unintentionally keeps exposing himself by wearing loose shorts, and Rachel agrees to read 'The Shining' if Joey will read 'Little Women'.
