Young Kwang goes to Jae In's birthday party and falls in love with her at first sight.

Jae In, a nursing assistant, and Young Kwang, a baseball player in a minor league, meet again after 17 years; Young Kwang doesn't recognize she is the Yun Jae In who he fell in love with at first sight 17 years ago.

After Jae In steps into a fight between Young Kwang and In Woo, she earns a suspension; after her suspension, Jae In heads to Seoul to find Kim In Bae, whom she mistakes as her father.

Kim In Bae's family is going through confusion after Jae In shows up; Kim In Bae learns that Jae In saved his son's life, and he decides to bring Jae In back to where she belongs because he wants to atone for all the sins he has done to her.

Jae In manages to escape from some kidnappers; while she runs away, she encounters an injured In Chul, and she saves his life; Young Kwang struggles to find a job and is upset seeing his mother trying hard to uphold her family alone.
