Sato Ai, who was popular because of her pretty appearance when she was young, lives with her friend and faces difficulties in life. One day, out of the blue, she receives a call from her long-lost childhood friend, Sosuke.

Risa is worried that Sosuke's going to figure out she's not Ai, and Ai finds out that she works at the same company as Sosuke.

Takuya discovers that Ai and Sosuke went to school together. Risa starts to fall for Sosuke and confides in Takuya. Ai finds out that Sosuke is trying to save the company from getting closed down.

Takuya pretends to be Risa's fiancé to help her get over the person she loves. Sosuke and Ai go on a business trip and have to stay together overnight.

Ai's idea is adopted in the magazine. But the sales of that magazine drop. Sosuke has to rebuild the brand.

Ai returns to the editorial department because of Sosuke. Her colleagues are shocked by her new look and style.
