The Trial

Miguel decides to quit his job as an insurance salesman to start a business with his brother; Miguel fails to realise that his only daughter, 18-year-old Andrea, was sexually assaulted at a party thrown by students.

Andrea tries to file a police report, but Huerta intimidates her and prevents her from completing her statement. Carlos tries to ignore the situation, distancing himself from the consequences.

Silvia reveals a motive to prosecutor Elena whilst handing crucial intel to defence lawyer Ruggero. Damning testimony from the Monaco maid and Claudio's ex-girlfriend severely damages the defendant, Linda.

A couple of months have passed since Verónica began her investigation, and her article is about to be published. Miguel, however, is not satisfied—he does not see enough people discussing the piece online or on social media.

After freeing Carlos, Huerta launches a counterattack to destroy Miguel's bond with his daughter, summoning both Portillos to a tense legal confrontation.

Huerta secures a powerful ally. Andrea and Miguel fight to defend themselves as the pressure mounts. Gerardo faces a difficult decision that could change everything.
