S1, E2: Arc is officially a mercenary in a guild. On his first assignment, he visits Marca, a girl who wishes to gather herbs as her late father had done to assist her mother. However, she needs protection as she gathers them. Arc, determined to help the girl, follows Marca into the forest. The mission goes well, and they even meet a small spirit animal. However, deep in the forest lurks a powerful beast.
