S1, E1: Fifteen-year-old Lux has spent her childhood being moved from one foster family to the next. Lux, who lives in Portland, Oregon, decides to become an emancipated minor on her 16th birthday, she must have the signatures of her biological parents. Her search leads her to her parents - mum Cate, a radio presenter and dad Baze who owns a bar. Lux suffers a setback in her legal case and finally meets her parents.
