Bend It Like Beckham
The comic tale of a young Indian woman who joins the local semi-professional football team but opts not to tell her traditionalist family, who want her to go to law school and settle down with a nice Indian boy. She finds it increasingly difficult to deal with her double life as a dutiful daughter and a talented footballer.
