Sacrifice

Shortly after moving with her husband to a remote Scottish island, consultant surgeon Tora Hamilton makes a shocking discovery - the buried corpse of a young woman, brandished with symbols and heart ripped out. A report concludes the burial took place hundreds of years ago, the body preserved in the peat soil but Tora is not convinced. Ignoring advice from locals she investigates further and begins to unearth legends of ritualistic, occult practices on the island and edges ever closer to the horrific truth.
