Harry is dead, his corpse found in the woods of a Vermont village. His wife thinks she may have killed him, as does retired sailor Albert Wiles. As other townsfolk begin to think maybe they had a hand in his death, the race is on to hide the body from the authorities. Unfortunately everyone has a different idea for disposal, leading to the body popping up at the most awkward moments.
