Twenty years on from the tragic events of her childhood, journalist Ingrid returns to the remote village where she grew up to follow up on a story of murdered children. The locals believe the winter witch, Frau Perchta, has cursed them and no child in the village is safe. After learning more about the legend of Frau Perchta, Ingrid is determined to break the curse and protect her daughter.
