Stories of monster killer waves have long been written off as sailor's yarn. Now scientists have proof that these legends are true. To date unsuspecting listeners have laughed at seafarers, accusing the storytellers of spinning yarns when they relate horror stories about walls of water as high as houses. However, appearances are deceptive. The monsters of the sea really do exist.
