Ambrosine Phillpotts

Ambrosine Phillpotts was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Phillpotts started off her career in film with roles in the comedic adaptation "The Reluctant Debutante" (1958) with Rex Harrison, the Laurence Harvey comedy "The Truth About Women" (1958) and "Expresso Bongo" (1959). Phillpotts then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the Laurence Harvey dramatic adaptation "Room at the Top" (1959), the comedy "Carry on Regardless" (1963) with Sidney James and the adaptation sequel "Life at the Top" (1965) with Laurence Harvey. She also appeared in the Joan Crawford mystery "Berserk" (1967) and the comedy "Ooh... You Are Awful" (1972) with Dick Emery. Later in her career, Phillpotts acted in "The Wildcats of St. Trinian's" (1980). Phillpotts passed away in October 1980 at the age of 68.
