Christopher Rhodes

Christopher Rhodes was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rhodes's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Betrayed" (1954), "The Colditz Story" (1955) with John Mills and the John Mills adaptation "Dunkirk" (1958). He also appeared in "Night Ambush" (1958). He continued to act in productions like the action picture "John Paul Jones" (1959) with Robert Stack, the action flick "Shake Hands With the Devil" (1959) with James Cagney and "Tiger Bay" (1959) with John Mills. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "A Terrible Beauty" (1960) with Robert Mitchum. Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in "Operation Amsterdam" (1960), the biographical drama "El Cid" (1961) with Charlton Heston and "Gorgo" (1961). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Guns of Navarone" (1961) with Gregory Peck. Rhodes more recently acted in the Richard Burton dramatic adaptation "Becket" (1964). Rhodes passed away in June 1964 at the age of 50.
