Contestants compete in the Quarter Final challenge using ingredients chosen by loved ones, cooking off for a place in the Semi Final.

Contestants have 60 minutes to make an impressive dish using ingredients from a mystery box set by guest chef, Luke Nguyen. The winner gains the advantage going into the invention test.

The top 24 contestants face a mystery box containing ingredients selected by season seven champion Billie McKay.

The bottom three contestants from the mystery box challenge face off in the elimination pressure test. They have just over three hours to recreate and plate up guest chef Anna Polyviou's signature dessert `Anna's mess'.

In the first elimination challenge, three contestants choose a cloche containing a single ingredient to be used in a dish for the judges. The contestant with the least impressive dish will be going home.

The remaining contestants must work together as they are paired up for a team challenge set by guest chef Curtis Stone.
