Addie is invited to go to Randy Klein's bar mitzvah and it's supposed to be the party of the year. However, Addie refuses to go because there's no way she'll be seen in public with her new braces.

Now that Addie is spending a lot of time with her new boyfriend, Randy, she is beginning to forget about her friends Geena and Zach. Addie must find a way to balance her boyfriend and her friends or else they will start pushing her away.

Jealousy gets a hold of Addie when she learns that the Rocky Road Middle School girls have given Randy the new nickname "Eye Candy Randy Klein". Addie sets out to track down and stop any girl who likes Randy personally.

Although Addie has a crush on Randy Klein, she's been avoiding him because she doesn't know how he feels about her. To make matters worse, Aunt Bertha informs her that kissing with braces can be lethal.

Addie and Randy are Rocky Road Middle School's most perfect couple, but when Addie is stood up by Randy, the perfect couple split up. While Addie is still angry, Randy tries to say sorry and get her back.

Addie is surprised to learn that the guys have been playing mini golf without inviting any of the girls. She becomes obsessed with finding out what goes on at "man golf" and why it's so special.
