Grant Gee
Director and cinematographer Grant Gee studied at both St. Catherine's College, Oxford, and the University of Illinois. He is perhaps best known as a director of music videos, with a decided alternative bent, having worked with the likes of Suede, Neil Finn, Nick Cave, Gorillaz, and Sparklehorse. He was involved on U2's "Zoo TV" in the early '90s and directed several experimental film projects. In 1998, he released "Meeting People Is Easy," a documentary about the British alternative rock band Radiohead. Gee has made several other documentaries focused on musicians and artists, including "JC-03" (2003), about Velvet Underground alum John Cale, "Scott Walker: 30 Century Man" (2006), and "Joy Division" (2007). In 2005, Gee served as producer for the video documentary "Don't Crash: The Documentary of the Making of the Movie of the Book of the Radio Series of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.""
