Jacques Charrier

Jacques Charrier was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Charrier began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "The Chasers" (1959), "Babette Goes to War" (1960) and the comedy "La Belle Americaine" (1961) with Robert Dhery. He also appeared in "L' Oeil du Malin" (1962). His film career continued throughout the sixties in productions like "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Days With Jean-Marc" (1964), "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Nights with Francoise" (1964) and "Les Creatures" (1965). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Winter Wind" (1969), the Norma Bengell sci-fi feature "Les Soleils De L'ile De Paques" (1972) and "Les Volets Clos" (1972). Charrier more recently produced the comedy "L' Oiseau Rare" (1973) with Jean-Claude Brialy. Charrier was married to Brigitte Bardot.
