Margia Dean

Margia Dean was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In her early acting career, Dean appeared in such films as the comedy "Casanova in Burlesque" (1944) with Joe E Brown, "Delinquent Daughters" (1944) and "Rimfire" (1949). She also appeared in the Vincent Price western "The Baron of Arizona" (1950) and the Cesar Romero action flick "F.B.I. Girl" (1951). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Fingerprints Don't Lie" (1951), "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951) and "Frontier Gambler" (1956) with John Bromfield. She also appeared in "Stagecoach to Fury" (1956) with Forrest Tucker and "The Creeping Unknown" (1956). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Jane Russell dramatic adaptation "The Revolt of Mamie Stover" (1956), "Ambush at Cimarron Pass" (1958) and the action movie "Villa!" (1958) with Brian Keith. She also appeared in "The Secret of the Purple Reef" (1960). Dean more recently acted in the Esther Williams dramatic adventure "The Big Show" (1961). Margia Dean died on June 23, 2023 in Rancho Cucamonga, CA at the age of 101.
