Stefan tries to deal with Elena's absence from his life while Alaric, Damon and Bonnie are all on vacation to Europe. Back in Mystic Falls, two Heretics brutally kill two teenagers as revenge for running over one of their friends.

Lulu's boyfriend Mikey throws a party, but True is almost too busy with Mad Style business to attend. True eventually manages to prepare her presentation and is able to support her friends' big night. At the party she is reunited with old school pal Shelley, who believes that work is far more important than friends.
