An epidemic breaks out on the Baywatch beach. Because of this, the area has to be temporarily closed. Meanwhile, Mitch receives a desperate call from Tanner while Jessie has a secret admirer.

Mitch befriends ten-year-old Tanner, wants to help the boy and takes him in with the Baywatch Junior lifeguards. Tanner's father is anything but thrilled about this and wants Mitch to stay out of it.
