Under hypnosis at the dentist, Ann is mistakenly told to buy anything at the drop of a hat; at the same time, Donald is trying to help her work on a budget.

After bonding with the woman who dubbed her voice in an ad, Ann attempts to give the aspiring singer a helping hand.

Ann and Donald go to pre-marital counselling, at which they find problems that may or may not actually exist..

Ann gets a modelling assignment at Belmont Racetrack. Later, when Don's friends realise that there is a horse named after her, they see it as a sign and ask Ann to make a bet for them.

Ann helps her agent get back into the comedy game by joining him for an act in the Catskills. However, things do not go according to plan.

Ann has to go to court to help a producer win a peculiar lawsuit, which involves a shish-kebab skewer.
