Taketoshi Naito

Taketoshi Naito was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Naito kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the sci-fi fantasy "Gojira" (1985) with Raymond Burr, "MacArthur's Children" (1985) with Takaya Yamauchi and "Shukuji" (1986) with Ichiro Zaitsu. He also appeared in the dramatic biopic "Sen No Rikyu" (1990) with Yoshiro Mifune. He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Eiji Okuda dramatic adaptation "Shikibu Monogatari" (1990), "Hikarigoke" (1992) with Bentaro Mikuni and the Kôji Yakusho foreign "Kamikaze Taxi" (1994). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Samurai Fiction" (1998) with Morio Kazama, "After Life" (1999) and the Kôji Yakusho drama "Jubaku" (1999). Naito most recently acted in "My Secret Cache" (1999).
