Cédric

Cedric's crush on Chen reminds Grandpa Robert of his youthful flings, and he offers up some advice based on his past.

Cedric makes up his mind to declare his love to Chen, but a pebble slips into her shoe just as he's getting ready to do so during a lovely walk.

Cedric makes himself scarce when his mother offers the neighbour his services to walk her dog, Caligula. Then he discovers Nicholas parading his pooch in front of girls.

Poppy offers to accompany the children to the school dance and the parents give a demonstration of their dancing skills. Cedric and Chen imitate them.

Cedric and Christian run into Chen, who tells them how upset she is to have lost a borrowed brooch. She'll be dishonoured if she doesn't find it by tonight, and Cedric will stop at nothing to keep that from happening.

An irrepressible feeling comes over him and Cedric goes red with anger when he thinks about his arch-enemy, Nicolas, who always tries to one up his stories.
