Masato gets teleported inside the world of a game, but quickly realises his mother has followed him and seems overjoyed at the idea of going on a family adventure.

Mamako and Masato hold interviews to decide who should join their party; the merchant girl Porter looks kind and is allowed to join; Masato gets a bad feeling from the next girl's photograph.

Wise joins the party to travel to the village of Maman on a special quest from Shirase, but first they need equipment at the armour shop; Mamako is overjoyed to be shopping with her son.

When Wise finds out that her mother is using a powerful cheating tool in the game, she agrees to try and mend their broken relationship to avoid a massive fine.

Masato, Wise and Porta enrol at Lover's Lane Academia, where they hope to gain a lot of SP and special items; during school, they encounter a healer named Medhi.

With assistance from Shirase, Mamako is allowed to go to the school as well; when Medhimama discovers that her magic doesn't work on Mamako, she realises she has found a new rival.
