The law always comes first for Judge Michael Jacobi, but as a father, he faces a dilemma when his son Julian confesses to a hit-and-run on a pedestrian revealed as the son of a vengeful mafia boss he jailed years ago.

Judge Michael Jacobi tries to eliminate all the traces of the accident, but Police Inspector Kirchner sends a forensics team on his trail. The comatose victim's sister Arija Sailovic interprets the accident as a deliberate attack and seeks revenge.

Michael now knows how to get his head out of the noose. He has to get into politics to stop the investigation from above. The arrested car smuggler Zuber does not want to be blamed for the accident.
