After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it's cracked up to be.

The residents of the Coterie throw an epic party, which Jude attends. Callie puts aside work for one evening to finally let loose and enjoy herself, but it could put her job as a law clerk in jeopardy.

Callie's love life heats up, especially after she contacts an old friend for some legal advice. Meanwhile, Mariana's attempt to get ahead at work has surprising consequences, and Gael's sister, Jazmin, reaches out to him for help.

Judge Wilson invites Callie and the other clerks over for a seemingly friendly BBQ that takes an unexpected turn.

Callie and Mariana's moms visit their new digs, but even with all the Coterie residents on their best behavior things get out of hand.

Callie plans to disclose her connection to Malika to Judge Wilson before Ben has the opportunity to undermine her and learns she might not be the only one with a conflict of interest on her team.
