Produced in association with the University of York, telling the stories of the lives of people who lived in the medieval world - from soldiers who died in battle to the lowliest of people who experienced great hardships. Dramatic reconstructions and skeleton analyses are used to help tell the stories. Some of the locations where the show is filmed include the King's Manor in York as well as locations throughout the UK, Northern France and Scandinavia.
