Dean Mayley had learning difficulties and was taking steps in becoming an independent adult. On his way home he encountered a group of men who taunted him and beat him to death.

In April 2019, the remains of a woman were found in a freezer in an apartment in London's East End. Investigators brought the freezer to be x-rayed, and it revealed two frozen bodies.
